Molly Parker (Donna)

An actress of fierce intelligence, strength and delicacy, Molly Parker (Donna) consistently garners acclaim for her craft and her bold, diverse choices in characters. Currently she has three upcoming features, TRIGGER opposite Tracy Wright, THAT’S WHAT I AM opposite Ed Harris and OLIVER SHERMAN opposite Donald Logue.

In 2010 she appeared in two pilots. She was the lead in CBS’ QUINTUPLETS opposite Dougray Scott. In addition, she starred in Lifetime’s MEET JANE, as the heroic single mother Jane, who gets enlisted by the FBI to take down her criminal ex-husband.

Last year she was seen in THE ROAD by director John Hillcoat, opposite Viggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron. She did three seasons as Alma Garrett on HBO’s critically heralded “Deadwood ”, the former New York society woman who reinvents herself by working her claim, adopting an orphan girl and falling for Seth Bullock (Timothy Olyphant).

Previously, Molly was seen with Ben Affleck, Adrien Brody and Diane Lane in Focus Features’ HOLLYWOODLAND, a drama about the mysterious death of George Reeves (television’s “Superman”). In Neil LaBute’s version of the cult classic THE WICKER MAN, Parker appears opposite Nicolas Cage and Ellen Burstyn as an island community teacher.

Finally, she stars opposite Lukas Haas and Adam Scott in Matt Bissonnette’s independent feature WHO LOVES THE SUN, which centers on the rivalry between two reunited childhood friends who compete for the love of the same woman. Parker won the Best actress Award at the Beverly Hills Film festival for her work in WHO LOVES THE SUN.

Parker can be seen in Rodrigo Garcia’s critically acclaimed NINE LIVES, which topped numerous critics’ best films of 2005 lists, plus her riveting performance as a drug addict in London trying to keep her kids in Gillies MacKinnon’s PURE.

Her credits also include Wayne Wang’s CENTER OF THE WORLD (Independent Spirit Award nomination, Best Female Lead) opposite Peter Sarsgaard; the Golden Globe-nominated drama, SUNSHINE, in which she co-starred with Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz; Keith Gordon’s WAKING THE DEAD, with Billy Crudup and Jennifer Connelly; Menno Meyjes ‘ MAX, which filmed in Budapest, co-starring John Cusack; and Michael Winterbottom’s acclaimed WONDERLAND which filmed in London and premiered in competition at the Cannes film festival

Parker also starred in Wiebke von Carolsfeld’s MARION BRIDGE (Genie Award winner, Best Supporting Actress); LOOKING FOR LEONARD, which she also executive produced; the comedies MEN WITH BROOMS and LAST WEDDING, for which she received Genie Award nominations; RARE BIRDS with William Hurt; Jeremy Podeswa’s THE FIVE SENSES with Mary Louise-Parker and the Venice Film Festival entry SUSPICIOUS RIVER. Parker made her feature film debut as an alluring necrophiliac in Lynne Stopkewich’s stunning KISSED, for which she received a Genie Award for Best Actress.

Parker began a relationship with HBO when she appeared as Rabbi Ari on the award-winning series “Six Feet Under” and subsequently starred with Hilary Swank and Angelica Houston as a young suffragette in “Iron Jawed Angels.” Additional television credits include “Twitch City,” the Fox miniseries “Intensity” and the telefilm “Serving in Silence” with Glenn Close.

John Hawkes (Martin)

John Hawkes (Martin) is an award-winning actor who continues to build an impressive resume in both film and television. Hawkes received critical acclaim for his role as ‘Teardrop’ in Debra Granik’s feature “Winter’s Bone,” adapted from the Daniel Woodrell novel. For his work, Hawkes was nominated for Best Supporting Actor by the Screen Actors Guild and Independent Spirit Awards. He was also named Best Supporting Actor by several film critic groups including San Francisco and San Diego. Peter Travers of ROLLING STONE credits Hawkes “in a brilliant portrayal of buried tenderness” and Karen Durbin of the NEW YORK TIMES wrote, “John Hawkes’ Teardrop is a villain worthy of Shakespeare. He is mesmerizing.” The film won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and recently garnered Best Feature and Best Acting Ensemble at the Gotham Awards. Earlier this year, the Downtown Film Festival Los Angeles presented Hawkes with their Indie Film Trailblazer award for 2010.

Currently in production on Steven Soderbergh’s latest film “Contagion,” Hawkes also completed filming “Higher Ground” with Vera Farmiga and “Martha Marcy May Marlene;” both films having been selected for Dramatic Competition in the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. Hawkes previously starred in the critically acclaimed movie, “Me and You and Everyone We Know,” which won a Special Jury Prize at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. Additionally, it shared Camera d’Or honors and won the Critics Week sidebar at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival and received two 2006 Independent Spirit Awards nominations.

Other film credits include, “American Gangster,” “Miami Vice” and “Identity” with John Cusack. He won over audiences and critics alike in his first high-profile role portraying ‘Bugsy’ in “The Perfect Storm.” Hawkes also starred in and co-produced the independent film, “Buttleman” for which he received a Breakout Performance Award at the 2004 Sedona Film Festival. Additional credits include “Small Town Saturday Night” opposite Chris Pine, “Hardball,” “Wristcutters: A Love Story,” “The Amateurs,” “From Dusk Till Dawn,” and “A Slipping-Down Life.”

On television, Hawkes has starred in two acclaimed series for HBO. He portrayed ‘Sol Star’ in the critically lauded drama “Deadwood” and now plays Danny McBride’s brother ‘Dustin’ in the comedy “Eastbound and Down.” Other television credits include “Lost,” Stephen Spielberg’s “Taken,” “The X-Files” and “24.”

Born and raised in rural Minnesota, Hawkes moved to Austin, Texas where he began his career as an actor and musician. He co-founded the Big State Productions theater company and appeared in the group’s original play, “In the West” at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. He also starred in the national touring company production of the play “Greater Tuna” including extended engagements in Los Angeles, Chicago and San Francisco. Hawkes wrote and performed the critically acclaimed solo play “Nimrod Soul” at the Theatre at the Improv and appeared on Broadway in the “24 Hour Plays” alongside Sam Rockwell.

Hawkes has penned several songs featured in films and television shows. His song ‘Bred and Buttered’ appears on the newly released “Winter’s Bone” soundtrack. With his band King Straggler he performed at the Sundance Film Festival, SXSW Music Festival and numerous clubs across the U.S. He is currently writing and recording for a new full length CD due for release in 2011.

Olivia Harris (Maggie) was discovered through an intensive casting search that focused on Texas but reached as far as California, New York and Washington DC. Olivia’s raw talent, intelligence, passion and fearlessness separated her from the crowd. Olivia is an award-winning vocalist as well as an actress. An alumnus of both Dallas’ and New York City’s renowned performing arts high schools, her achievements are impressive at any age. At the national level, she performed in the 2009 Grammy Awards Vocal Jazz Ensemble, and won a Downbeat Magazine award for best high school jazz vocalist. In June 2009, Olivia graduated with honors from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing Arts in Dallas, where she starred in numerous theatrical productions. She is currently continuing her training at one of the nation’s top acting conservatories.

Lydia Mackay (Nadia) was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, but now resides in Big D. She holds a BFA in Theatre from Texas Wesleyan University and an MFA in Acting from Southern Methodist University. Primarily a stage and voice actress, she also performs live readings, coaches voice, designs props and masks, produces theatre and teaches at TCU, The Dallas Theater Center and Theatre Arlington. The Dallas Observer has named her the ‘Best Local Actress’ and she has received high acclaim for her theatrical work over the years. Lydia is the co-founder/producer of The Drama Club, and is a proud member of the Actor’s Equity Association.

Jonathan Brooks (Clark) is a Texan who transplanted himself to New York City for about ten years. While there, he explored every avenue of artistic expression that he could get his hands on. From musical theater to plays to fronting his own rock and roll band, Have Her Home By Ten, to hosting karaoke with a live rock band behind him at the World Famous Arlene Grocery Rock and Roll Karaoke, he dove into the mouth of beast and lost himself for a while. Three years ago, he returned to his homeland of the great Lone Star State and found that he truly is at home in Texas. He continues to act in film and on stage, joining an independent theater company at the Undermain Theater. He also continues to write music for his solo project, Trapper Jon, as well as painting, his new found love.

Cody Linley as Ryan in The Playroom

Cody Linley (Ryan)

Cody Linley (Ryan) stars as the leading role of “Sean” opposite Emily Osment in HAUNTING HOUR: DON’T THINK ABOUT IT produced by The Hatchery and distributed by Universal. The film is based on an R. L. Stein book, a horror flick and was released in September 2007.

Cody is best known for his role as “Jake Ryan” on the wildly popular Disney Channel series HANNAH MONTANA. He was nominated for the Young Artist award this year for “Best performance in a recurring role” for his role on Hannah Montana as Jake Ryan, and helped the show get a nomination for an Emmy for “Outstanding Children’s Programming”.

Cody also was a fan favorite on season 7 of the popular ABC series “Dancing with the Stars.” He and partner Julianne Hough danced their way to fourth place, just barely missing out on a berth in the top 3.

Cody starred as the leading role of “Mullet Fingers” in the Walden-Media family film HOOT, produced by Frank Marshall, Kathleen Kennedy, Jimmy Buffett and directed by Wil Shriner. In HOOT, Mullet Fingers (Linley) is a wild boy who lives in the woods and fights to protect the owls that live there despite the police officer’s (Luke Wilson) efforts to stop the mischief he causes because of it. The film is based on the Carl Haaison’s award winning book.

Cody made his motion picture debut as Spit McGee in the poignant family film “My Dog Skip.” For his work in the award-winning movie, Cody shared the Young Artist Award (along with star Frankie Muniz and other cast members) for Best Ensemble in a Feature Film.

Since that auspicious debut, the young thespian has been featured in such movies as “Miss Congeniality” (opposite Sandra Bullock) “Where the Heart Is” (with Natalie Portman and Ashley Judd) “Cheaper By the Dozen” (alongside Steve Martin and Hilary Duff), “When Zachary Beaver Came to Town” (with Jonathan Lipnicki and Eric Stoltz) and “Rebound,” with Martin Lawrence. He also had a leading role in the independent romantic thriller, “Echoes of Innocence,” playing a generous and caring prince-in-hiding who begins a romance with his 12-year-old soul-mate.

Cody’s television roles include the CBS movie-of-the-week “Still Holding On: The Legend of Cadillac Jack” opposite Clint Black and Lisa Hartman, “Beyond the Prairie, Part 2: The True Story of Laura Ingalls Wilder,” several guest spots on “Walker, Texas Ranger” and the popular Disney Channel show, “That’s So Raven.” Cody hails from Texas where he still lives when not filming.

Alexandra Doke (Janie) has been performing on stage since the age of 3 when she began studying at the Flower Mound Performing Arts Theatre’s Young Artist Training Program. Favorite professional roles include MacDuff’s Daughter (Macbeth/Dallas Opera); Tiny Tim (Scrooge the Musical/Lifestage Theatre) and Tina (Ruthless! The Musical/FMPAT) for which she was named Best Performance by a Child Actress. Allie began studying film when she was 8 and has since had principal roles in voiceovers, commercials and industrials. She had the lead role of Veda in the short film The Unkempt Room and the lead role of Sally in the independent feature Revenge of the Grasshoppers. In television, she has performed on Barney and Friends and most recently garnered the role of Grace Thatcher, Adrianne Palicki’s daughter and Jon Voight’s granddaughter on the 2010 Fox series Lone Star.
